In 1991 I started the first digital journalism course given at University level - the global digital journalism course at Stockholm University. In 1994 I launched (one of) the first European newspapers online (aftonbladet.se). I was, for a number of years, the program director for the Swedish Society of Investigative Journalists (FGJ) developing and giving courses for mid-career journalists. I have taught in Universities in Sweden, the UK and Southern and Western Africa. At present I am on the faculty of the Journalism Leaders Program at the University of Central Lancashire.
